homemade bibs!

my friend erin (a.k.a aunt slappy) sewed cash and chloe the most beautiful bibs for their christening gifts! they are perfect in every way... size, absorbency and style! thanks erin!

i'm in!

we went to new jersey this past weekend to have cash baptised with his cousin chloe. it was a beautiful day! all the kids behaved wonderfully and we got to see so many family members and friends! here are some pics from the weekend:

growing like a weed!

i can hardly believe how big cash is getting. every morning when i go to his crib it looks like he grew an inch! about 2 weeks ago, kelly and i thought he might have an ear ache or something because he was being so fussy- so we called the doctor and were told that he was going through a growth spurt. well, i'd say he did! he's now in 9 month clothing, size 3 diapers and sitting up like a big boy in his high chair! the cereal thing still isn't going so well, but we're trying!

cereal day 1!

so we decided it was time for little henry cash to have some cereal... well, you can tell from his face what he thought of it. day one didn't go as planned and he didn't swallow one bit of it. however on day 2, although he did grimace, he swallowed much more and then took an hour and a half nap! coincidence?! i hope not! day 3 cereal is going to be right before bedtime...

slippers!

it's been so cold here that we haven't been able to leave the house too much- and today while cash was in his jumparoo i thought the floor was awfully cold for his little feet and i had wished he had some slippers... then i remembered he does! my friend michelle knitted him these beautiful booties before he was even born and now they fit him perfectly keeping his little tookers nice and toasty! thanks michelle!

nevermind the fact that cash's feet never even used to come close to the leg seperator on his swing and now his feet are hanging off the end! kelly and i measured him the other day and he was 26"! we won't know how much he weighs until we go to the doc in february...

because cash likes to stand up and be oh so independent kelly and i bought him a little present today and he loves it! i fear this kid is gonna be walking at 9 months!

a visit to the coiffeur!

cash and i tagged along with kelly today to his haircut appointment. horacio has been cutting both kelly and my hair for awhile and he couldn't resist snipping cash's locks. so there he sat on mom's lap in the chair getting snipped and styled on newbury street. unfortunatly, because it was an unplanned event, we didn't have the camera. however, after cash had his bath tonight i snapped some shots to show off his new do! i also got a shot of him sucking his thumb after the tub, holding his bedtime bottle (which is his new favorite thing to do) and what we like to call the formula coma. nighty night sweet prince.
